What is the SAM registration process?
Create a Login.gov account, sign into SAM.gov, enter your business info and UEI, complete certifications, then submit for validation.
The SAM registration process starts with creating a Login.gov account, then signing into SAM.gov to begin an entity registration. You'll enter your legal business name, physical address, tax information, and banking details, then request or confirm your Unique Entity ID (UEI). Next, you complete the core data, representations and certifications, and points of contact sections before submitting for government validation. Once approved, your entity becomes active and visible to federal buyers.
GovCon in a Box is designed to sit alongside this process: our tools help you identify the right NAICS codes, build a compelling capability narrative, and tune your keywords so your SAM record does more than pass compliance—it becomes a high-visibility, opportunity-generating asset from day one.
